Sr. Malakai (Pronounced 'Sah-Ma-la-kai') is a 20-year old Kenyan RnB/Afrobets/Soul singer who arrived in Sydney from Nairobi , Kenya in October 2023. Linking with Sydney-native MC Connect, the duo have released a bunch of singles including the popular 'Karma' (October 2023), 'Soon As I' (December 2023) and 'Ghetto Bunny' (March 2024). Being brothers, the pair have irresistible chemistry and stage presence, consistently getting crowds up and dancing at festivals most recently at the Sawa Sawa Festival in Marrickville in June and supporting East African heroes, Hart_the_Band at the Metro Theatre in Juiy. Blending Swahili and English the pair deliver a fresh take on Afrobeats, RnB, Soul and HipHop singing about enjoying life, love and heartbreak.
